The Department of English Language, College of Humanities, University of Zakho, announces that Ms. Jwan Hussein Suleiman successfully defended her PhD dissertation entitled “Investigating the Effect of the Bologna Process on Developing Kurdish EFL University Students’ Autonomous Learning” on Monday, October 19, 2026.

The dissertation was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Hussein Ali Ahmed and examined by the appointed academic committee.

Following the successful defense and completion of the required academic procedures, Ms. Jwan Hussein Suleiman has been awarded the Doctor of Philosophy in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics.

The Department extends its congratulations to Dr. Jwan Hussein Suleiman on the completion of her doctoral degree and wishes her success in her future academic and professional work.
